UN Human Rights Council – Neurotechnologies’ rapid advancement requires urgent regulatory response – expert | HRC58

On 12 March 2025, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to privacy, Ana Brian Nougrères, presented her latest thematic report to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The report sets out the basis for the creation of a conceptual framework for regulating the use of neuro-technologies and the processing of neuro-data, from the perspective of the right to privacy.
