Since February 2024, MUFON has stopped providing Monthly Sighting Statistics. In my opinion, the sudden high number of Abductions reported in November 2023 might be the cause.
- On 18 March 2024, the Canadian Director (MUFON) told me the systems were down and were expected to be up within two weeks -> Reason for no FEB reports. February, March, April came and went . . . The MUFON April and MAY enewsletters did not have the monthly sighting reports. TBD
In December 2023, no sightings were reported – in fact no mention such as “No abduction reported”, instead they simply didn’t say a word.
In January 2024, the numbers might be wrong. Sightings and Abductions are both 449.
The grey column on far right is to show the average no. of abductions that were usually reported for past FEW years. Now in November 2023, someone left the barn door open.
